We had a very nice room near the pool. The rooms were in their own gated area, with the pool. We felt the area was safe. No worries there. We were visiting my wife's mother, who lived in the town, and this was very convenient. We recommend this as a place to stay at a great price.

We felt that the rooms should have more fans. Also, there was not a kitchen - just a refrigerator. There were no plates, cups, glasses.

"Best place in La Mesa to stay on a budget."

Wow, for the price it can not be beat in La Mesa. Clean rooms, very attentive service. And I really liked the old ledger you must sign to check in, very 1950. Great pool and rooms are large. Some things to know, no hot water like most hotels here and no air conditioning. There is a fan in the room and a window. However, opening the window at night will invite mosquitos. Will stay again. In fact we liked so much we booked another night. Oh, and the stocked minibar is same price as local bar, drink away amigos!
