Roaches, over caffeinated children running around upstairs, ancient furniture including bed, fraudster owner putting in multiple positive reviews of his own, wouldn't pay more than 30$ in future, no tv but there's one on the nice room that doesn't get rented out...

Great location if you are walking across the border. Five to 10 minutes walk after immigration over PedWest (pedestrian) bridge. Turn right at corner of the multi-story parking structure. Next block on right at the corner. Excellent customer service with receptionist/guard Romulo during the day, and with Esteban/Stefan in the morning. Esteban knocked on my door as asked to see if I was up so I could cross the border early, around 5:15 a.m. Security good. Esteban opened the locked gate and I was on my way. Clean sheets, comfortable mattress, and a surprise kitchenette, only used the refrigerator. Appreciated the bottle of filtered water provided. NIce light. One block from the ABC Bus Terminal for buses to Ensenada, Rosarito, and I believe Mexicali. Convenient.

Only drawback is that I used Booking.com on-line from Mexico. $30 USD was added to the room rate. If I had known before my trip, I might have booked from the U.S. and not been charged a tarif of $30 by booking.com Do not expect perfection as there are a lot of travelers who are abusive in rooms. Coyote Lofts has no control over whether or not travelers are respectful of property. So expect to find wall nicks, windows and blinds that may not open and close well, a wobbly faucet that looked as though someone tried to yank it out of its socket.

Location was great for crossing the border.

Not so great for going downtown by foot.

The cleaning fee should be included in the cost per night. It is misleading as it is not an AirBnB listing so it shouldn't be treated as such. Nice place though and great staff!
