Cristina is an amazing host and was kind, attentive, and responsive. Her place is beautiful and the food incredible. There were some minor inconveniences that came with rainy season and she checked in so much and made sure I was cared for and supported. If you want a holiday stay that feels like home away from home highly recommend <3

We absolutely loved our stay at Maria Bonita! The room was super cozy and stylish, with a nice bohemian vibe that made it feel really special. The bathroom was super clean and had an actual shower with a glass door—something that’s pretty rare to find in Ahangama. The location is perfect too—just a minute’s walk to the Marshmallow surf spot, which was so convenient. The owner is the sweetest person ever—so kind and helpful. She even let us have a late check-out, which made everything so much easier. Honestly, we’d come back in a heartbeat!

Absolutely lovely accommodation, interior design well thought through- simple yet very stylish + great attention to details. The present location is great, close to the seashore and all great cafes and restaurants, but not loud. It's surrounded by greenery and fab waves crashing. Ultimate relaxing spot. The host is very accommodating and helpful, despite the low season, and late hour she came to town to open the room for me when my original booking fell through. She was always ready to help with advice or suggestion. Highly recommended!

The rooms were comfortable and staff were lovely. The food was delicious!

Cute and beautiful butik hotel just by the sea, I loved the location, so close to Ahangama main beach. In the night I could fall asleep listening to the sea. There is also cute coffe place where you can have breakfast or lunch. Lovely and helpful owner. I will definitely come back there. Safe for sole female travelers.

My room was pretty dark, without any sunlight. No AC and it could be a bit cleaner.

The ventilation in the room was quite bad. It was hard to get fresh air in without attracting mosquitoes. There is no AC in the room. The ven on the ceiling was super loud and a bit broken so I couldn’t leave it on during the night. So the temperature in the room made it quite hard for me to sleep. The bathroom was unfortunately a bit run down. I expected more for the price I paid.
