A bit unclean

They did not have a restaurant and there were none nearby. And due to cold climate the things that you order with them was not warm when it reached the room

Toilets were not clean. There were cloth leftovers from the previous tenant

I stayed twice at this hotel. The first time was sub-standard in cleanliness, noise, and the TV channels were not working. I wrote down my concerns and came back to the hotel a few days later. Everything was as good as they could manage; they were clearly responsive and I appreciated that. I also liked the speed and quality of their service, and it was very quiet this time.

This is likely true for all hotels with this rating, but the floors are not washed with clean water and it is best not to walk barefoot in the room.

Five minute auto-rickshaw ride from the station which was great after a long train journey. Rahul wanted to be helpful and was friendly. The price we paid for the hotel is comparable to the experience and facilities.

Hot water didn’t work on the first night and only lasted five minutes the second. The room also needed a good clean. The hotel also looked mid-construction despite the room being “well-lived in”, with an open lift shaft and plastering being done at 10pm on a wall by the stairs to the rooms.

The staff is the sweetest and very polite. The food was also good. The location is 3-4 kms from golden temple and other attractions. It's on the main road and really close to railway station, so accessibility is good.

The rooms though looks clean has really dirty floor. The linen and blankets were also quite dirty. After shower if you don't have slippers, then you need to wash your feet again coz the entire dirty floor's grime would be on your feet. The room doesn't have heater so it was quite cold.
