Coylumbridge Resort Hotel

When I arrived at the hotel I could see it was having some construction work. Although it was not noisy or a problem, the lady explained the above without prompting and gave me a warm welcome The breakfast and food was very good and a great range of products The swimming pool sauna was excellent and well maintained. There were good facilities available at the hotel and entertainment at night. Outside the area is well maintained, good walking areas, local bus service just outside the front of the hotel, cheap transport to Avimore and the Cairngorms with stops on the way to various local facilities. Rooms were adequate with facilities for a cup of tea or coffee and shortbread supplied. The hotel will keep the kids satisfied plenty for them to do. Would go back but not sure it would be in the summer months. See below

The breakfast area was very congested due to holiday makers from different countries as normal not going around in a uniformed order or queueing The area has only one toaster placement and causes problems making the area very congested. The coffee machines were difficult to operate and mostly only one was working The hotel rooms along or corridor were extremely hot no A/C but fans were available but beware very hot and it wasn't hot outside don't no about the whole hotel but in summer it would be a problem There was no fridge to keep drinks food cool.

What multi-level hotels don't have a lift these days. You need to fix this.

We rarely leave negative reviews, and checking out of a hotel without staying overnight was a first for us. Unfortunately, the overall atmosphere felt unwelcoming from the moment we arrived. Reception was unattended, with several large signs stating “NO CHECK IN UNTIL 3PM”. When a member of staff appeared at around 2:45pm, we politely asked a question but received little response beyond being pointed towards the sign. While waiting in reception, we noticed that several surfaces were heavily covered in dust and some tables were dirty. A queue began forming shortly before 3pm, yet guests were still kept waiting. One member of staff was friendly and helpful, but another was noticeably abrupt and dismissive, which felt unnecessary. Despite having completed the hotel’s advance registration process for a “speedy check-in”, the check-in itself took more than 25 minutes. By the time we finally reached our room, the experience had already left a poor impression. The room itself was acceptable but tired in places and uncomfortably hot. After reading a number of recent reviews about the restaurant and considering our experience so far, we decided this was not somewhere we wanted to spend the night and chose to leave. While checking out, we overheard another couple complaining that their room was also excessively hot. Leaving a hotel immediately after checking in is not something we have ever done before, but in this case it was the right decision for us and one we do not regret.

The ambience and the quietness around the property was superb. The restaurant was good.

We spend Only 2 nights and didn't got any negative experience to mention. My suggestion is that , If any cafe is available like Mcdonalds or something, will be beneficial for the guests.
