Hôtel de la Croix-Blanche

That's the only hotel in Cressier and I needed to be in Cressier. Thanks that it exists. It looks nice from the outside and the staff is very friendly. Also it's clean.

The floor in the room is very old, you can hear your every step. If you want to do some sport - no way. You can hear how people from other rooms breath. At night in summer it's hard to sleep: no AC, no fan, if you open the windows, the road is too loud. No fridge in the room. Wifi works very bad and not always. I should have an online lesson in zoom and I could not. And my personal issue: I can't eat bread with jam for the breakfast every day. I know a lot of people can.

We had to bring our departure date forward at short notice (for our own reasons) and the proprietors could have asked us to pay for the pre-booked and unused night, but didn't, which was kind of them. Glad to say that it seems busy and popular and they were able to fill the room anyway.

Cleanliness, breakfast, staff and atmosphere, location.

nice family run hotel. nice outdoor area to enjoy the good food and drink. short trip on train to Neuchatel- free pass provided by hotel.

Breakfast was very nice. A simple Swiss breakfast, with excellent coffee. The village was a delight and the hotel was right in the centre of the village.
