Peccato sia vicino alla strada trafficata ed avevo la stanza senza balcone , per il resto tutto perfetto

Overall it is an excellent property. Breakfast is excellent, staff is friendly and attentive. Our Internet crapped out every night at 9:00 pm sharp when the outdoor lights came on, and they finally fixed it by the 4th night. The front desk guy was excellent in getting it fixed every night after I called it out. Food very good, nice wine list. Breakfast in particular was excellent.

However, there were a few challenges. We ended up with one of two "apartments" in a separate building, which wasn't clear to us due to what may be an outdated description on Booking.com. It described no restaurant in May (not true) and did not clarify options for breakfast or dinner. There is a large hotel or residence being build directy in front of the hotel on the valley side, and all day there was sawing, clanging and beeping. Very unpleasant, especially as the apartments were front row. It also didn't feel very private - kids running back and forth past our windows and terrace, adults sneaking around to get to the pool, kids screaming 10 feet away on the neighboring terrace and at dinner, etc. That got old. Kids hiding in the bushes and spying on you and giggling. Did not need that. Dinners were a bit too gourmet for our liking. Foam of this and imagination of that. Friend had Schnitzel from kids menu and I had chicken cordon something and both were quite dry. My wife is a vegetarian and she couldn't eat a bizarre cauliflower cabbage cream concoction. Too precious by half.
