Dunhuang Hotel

Great position, it is possible to walk to the famous night market of Dunhuang, the size of the room exceeded my expectations

Old fashion style, bad cigarettes smell and really hard bed

The hotel is fantastic, breakfast was a big variety of good choices. The staff is kind and helpful. All the facilities are very comfortable.

Very good hotel, located in the center and close to the activities. The garden where we had breakfast was charming and the room was comfortable.

The check in process was a bit complicated but we still managed

Very nice, well equipped and spacious room. The breakfast in the garden was pleasant, with simple but delicious dishes. There was a very sophisticated souvenir shop cum cafe in the hotel, and an art gallery, both of which we enjoyed spending time in. It was really conveniently located, close to the night market, so we walked around at night, which was cool enough for enjoying the market on the street.

The staff at the reception spoke limited English but it was the case for almost everywhere in the city, so I wouldn’t blame them. We could communicate with the help of translator apps so no problem. There was a simple location map for most tourist destinations displayed on the wall and the rest was up to the baidu map on my mobile, which was manageable.

Nice breakfast, and nice place.
