"Close to the turist bus station, OK place for OK price."

Location is just perfect. 10 min by walk to the bus station to go up the hill. It's located in the turist part of the street, but you go back to the inner city (~300m) and you will get much better food and attitude.Recommend not to eat in any of the restaurant close to the hotel, go to tru the park, and eat in the city. It's lovely place worth the walk. There was pretty difficult to get hot water (10min!) but beside that, bed, cleaness, wifi, not noisy place was pretty ok. The staff was helpful and informative. It's tough to get a bus or taxi from train station to this turist area.

One side of the hotel is around 2m from the other building, that was not nice. But we have rooms both side, the other was good.

"Simple place in a great location with friendly staff."

The guy at reception was really friendly and helpful. He made a big effort to answer my questions despite he not speaking any English (nor me any Chinese). The room was very spacious and it didn't have a smoker's smell. The wifi was very reliable. Location is great for buses that take you up to Emei mountain.

Noise in the morning. Unfortunately people gather downstairs early in the morning to get ready to go to Emei (as early as 5 am) and they are not shy about talking loudly so ear plugs are a good thing to have. No hot water but being so hot I didn't really suffer having a cold shower.
