The grounds and gardens are truly spectacular, right on the lake with beautiful views. Extremely well maintained swimming pool. The restaurant is of excellent quality and good value for money.

The room itself, located in one of the annexes, was disappointing. With a 1980’s decor, it felt cold and impersonal. This was in stark contrast to the beauty of the building and the slick and well-kept gardens. Could easily be turned around with a bit of investment.

Superb Location. The breakfast was excellent and the staff attentive and caring. As a break for couples or family it was extremely comfortable and thoroughly refreshing.

Beautiful, pool/spa area delightful, staff friendly and helpful.

Value for money - everything was lovely just not worth the price tag especially when you have to pay £7 for water! Considering the price I would have wanted complimentary e.g welcome drink
