Reasonably near to Bilbao Brittany Ferry

I t has restaurant / bar / and plenty of outside parking for motorcycles and cars. It has plenty outdoor seating and covered patio seating for customers to look at the stunning scenery that is surrounding the property. The staff had no English really but that was not a problem as the phone and app took all the hard work out of things. It is never a place anywhere you go in the world people always use a little sign language and pointing here and there , all is sorted

Room was spacious, bed massive, bath and shower, breakfast one of the better breakfast buffets. Manager extremely helpful even though we did not soothe same language. On bus route to Bilbao centre

This was an excellent choice to overnight at before heading to Bilbao for the morning ferry. It’s basic but at the price it was a real bargain. It's looking a bit tired, but the people couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful. We also had a meal there that was very cheap, and the breakfast had an excellent selection. Bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of parking at the front.

Ideal location for our needs

It’s definitely a little tired but adequate.

Breakfast was simple and good. Location is a little outside centre of Güeñes - but there is not a lot in the centre. However, it made a pleasant walk from hotel to centre and then back via the 'back road' looking down on the river and back to hotel. We were on an overnight stop to the Bilbao ferry - this was about 25 minutes away on a Sunday morning. As has been said before, there is a parrot who 'sings' and the staff are wonderful but don't speak English - our Spanish was OK, thankfully. The restaurant was good value.

At the meal, the server had a hand written menu which she read out to us - letting us see the written word would have helped as my Spanish is not native speaker level but I can read it better.
