only stayed 1 night and checked-in in the evening but based on that: the lady on reception called us because we booked later in the evening for the same day and they close reception at 9pm. A nice touch to make sure we didn’t miss reception. Also there is parking on the street outside but it becomes paid parking between 08:00-16:00. The lady took down our car registration and arranged for us to have valid payment from 08:00-10:00 (which is checkout). Again, a helpful service. clean, spacious room not cramped like a closet. Bed was comfortable but low (I write this in case you have mobility problems). Bathroom was gorgeous. The tea/coffee in the room is always something we look for.

Booking.com wrote in the final price that the price included all taxes including city tax but we were charged an additional city tax. I don’t know where the problem lies: Booking.com being mistaken (or lying to keep the price lower) or the hotel collecting extra revenue per guest (despite agreeing the terms with Booking.com) and hoping the guests don’t notice or care. The cost adds up for longer stays but it’s more about the principle and should definitely be fixed.
