"Poor customer service"

Very pathetic staff, my wife called on the landline of the hotel because i slept off with my phone on mute. The person at the reception said he can't connect her to the room as first she has to prove that she is my wife or she should come to the hotel and show her Aadhar card. It was such a pathetic service, that the hotel personnel could not come knock at the door if they could not let my wife talk to me. Just bizarre and absurd behaviour.
