What a find! Amazing value for money. Very clean - and the cleaner came to empty our bin every day Nice, clean pool The biggest thing for us was the very friendly staff! We checked in late and checked out late, and it was no problem for them. They were always available when we needed them. It’s hard to think of any negatives, however there was a dog barking at night sometimes (not the hotel’s fault).

“Very disappointing stay. The owner was rude and made anti-Semitic jokes that made me feel unwelcome and unsafe as a Jewish guest. He charged me extra fees not mentioned at booking. I booked a smoking room but he refused to let me smoke. The AC didn’t work and there was a bathroom leak they refused to fix. The owner’s son offered to show me around but left me out of pocket with no help. Staff interrupted my conversations with other guests and made me feel unwelcome. They treated me unfairly but were much nicer to people from other countries. Many offers on Booking.com were fake. The only nice person was a French lady. This is one of the worst hotels in 5 months of travel. Jewish and American travelers should stay far away from this place in Máncora.” Spanish (copy-paste): “Estancia muy decepcionante. El dueño fue grosero e hizo chistes antisemitas que me hicieron sentir incómodo y poco seguro como huésped judío. Me cobró cargos extras no mencionados al reservar. Reservé habitación para fumadores pero se negó a dejarme fumar. El aire acondicionado no funcionaba y había una fuga en el baño que se negaron a arreglar. El hijo del dueño se ofreció a mostrarme los alrededores pero me dejó sin dinero y sin ayuda. El personal interrumpía mis conversaciones y me hacía sentir poco bienvenido. Fueron injustos conmigo pero mucho más amables con personas de otros países. Muchas ofertas en Booking.com eran falsas. La única persona amable fue una señora francesa. Este es uno de los peores hoteles en 5 meses de viaje. Viajeros judíos y estadounidenses deberían mantenerse lejos de este lugar en Máncora.”

Ontbijt was goed! Zijn er in totaal 10 dagen geweest en zat ook nog variatie in het ontbijt!
