Hotel Chasa Chalavaina - Historisches Hotel des Jahres 2024

I stayed before in this hotel while was still under the previous management so this review has that background. The charm of the place is undeniable, the house is gorgeous and being so central and close to bus stop and the Monastery is a huge plus. Room was huge (Junior Suite) and full of charm. Breakfast had a few locally sourced ingredients which were delicious.

The vibe and soul are gone, now is managed like any other business. We had a table for dinner but could not find on the menu anything local/traditional so we left to eat somewhere else nearby where that was possible.

Chalavaina hats geschafft, den Esprit und die Historie des Hauses in die Gegenwart zu bringen. Essen TOP Preis dafür als Hotelgast 5 Sterne! Frühstück wunderbar! Personal TOP! gute Gespräche…. Die aufgelegte ZEIT wars Tüpfelchen auf dem I! in der Feuergrube hätte ich mir einmal ein brennendes Feuer gewünscht! ich vergesse nicht wie jeweils JON das Zündhölzli ans Geuer hehalzen hat👍danke wir kommen wieder!

Het eten was origineel en héél lekker. Veel producten, vlees, zuivel etc. waren lokaal én bio.

The hotel has a great ambiance, owing to its historic character and respectful renovation and upkeep. The breakfast was outstanding, offering a wide array of locally produced foods. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely nothing. Our only regret was that we did not have dinner at the restaurant, as we tend not to eat in the evenings.

Sehr schönes historisches Hotel. Man fühlt sich wie bei einer Zeitreise in der Vergangenheit. Das Essen ist sehr lecker.

L'accoglienza per tutti all'aperitivo prima della cena di fine anno, il servizio della colazione, il silenzio, la quiete della Val Mustair. La neve al nostro arrivo, un gran bel Capodanno insomma!

Nessuna nota di rilievo. Forse è sembrato a noi un poò strano terminare la cena di fine anno alle ore 22.00. Ma è servbito per farci passeggiare nella neve prima della mezzanotte..
