Hotel "Zur Panke"

Very nice breakfast.

The room was very hot with little airflow. A fan would have been a simple fix and very appreciated, as it was too hot to sleep comfortably.

The location is definitely not central, you need to plan 50-60 mins from the Hauptbahnhof to get there, but for my work-related trip, the location was perfect

Claustrophobics won't like the hotel's underground rooms and dark hallways. I also had to call to the hotel to get the PIN code for the entrance door during check-in. This is totally unnecessary imo. In the year 2024, you don't need to arrange a phone call for confirmation, and then send the code via WhatsApp! Especially if you consider that it is 32 degrees outside.

Had to pay in cash. Cleaning personnal tried to enter the room, without permission, 2 hours before check out. Fanfilter in the WC was filthy.

Loud traffic outside. No elevator. Bathroom not very comfortable, no shelves

Hotel was totaly underconstraction. The owner is not very friendly. I informed them that I will arrive at 18 oclock nobody was there they didn't send any information how I can get in the building. Because he didn't welcomed me I couldnt pay, because of that next day he locked my door and I couldnt get inside until I payed my fee. If you want to feel unwelcomed and treated like criminal i suggest you to stay here.
