Motel 6 Portland Mall - 205

Good low cost option.

The room did not meet the standards of what I expected from Motel 6, based on past experiences with other locations.

The rooms were good size fairly clean. The bed was comfortable. I did not like housekeeping. They were very pushy and tried to open the door multiple occasions without even knocking one time even after I paid for the room for the second day, they continued to press me about coming in the room, which I told him repeatedly that I was not to be disturbed because me and my fiancé we’re having time to ourselves for the weekend and didn’t wanna be bothered by nobody

It was a good choice for a last minute option. I am disabled and needed a room to accommodate me. There are plenty of restaurants, stores and gas stations within a short distance.

There were channels on the television guide I got an error message that they weren't authorized. I tried to use my own computer but couldn't get a lot of my home channels. There are too many sports and religious channels on the cable package the motel subscribes to. One channel I couldn't get was H&I, which is an over the air channel 3.1 (KWPT) and several cable channels--They play Star Trek episodes from 8PM to 1AM Sunday-Friday.

Not a safety place and so much items are broken

When we arrived the service was good but the room we got kind of smell like cigarettes. I went to speak with the manager and we kindly changed us to a new room. Over all the service was excellent. Thank you.
