Hotel Casa Italia

Good overall. We were apologetically offered a different room as the one we paid for had an issue with 'the water'. The room we got was still nice enough, had close to the features of the booked one, good aircon, full bathroom, high ceilings, comfortable. No garden view and no clue if that would have been quieter. Weakish WiFi. We secured the bikes in the unused restaurant.

The "let us know when you are coming for a smooth arrival" is aspirational, more like phone call and 15 minute wait. Why do places do this. Make sure you have a sim card. Very noisy at night when we were there. Broken shower rose fixture, hold your own.

We loved our stay at Hotel Casa Italia! The host was just lovely and made us so welcome. We are bike packing and were able to access the washing machine to wash our clothes after 4 days on the road. Out host even helped us hang it out. Little English was spoken but through Google translate we were able to communicate no problem. It was really nice to hear the Italian language again as we loved our time in Italy! Our first room had a broken air conditioner so our host moved us to a new room without any hesitation. Our room was so clean and beautiful and the BEST shower we’d had in days!! We would have stayed much longer if we had more time.

Just that we couldn’t stay longer. Perhaps an on-site restaurant would be good but we found a nice place to eat just around the corner.
