The staff were always available and very helpful. They even arranged our transport from and to Delhi for us. They were able to provide details about nearby hikes also, and were friendly and welcoming. The location is a bit removed from the main town, so it is quiet at night. Stunning views with lots of windows and a nice private balcony. The food was reasonably priced and excellent, with many options to choose from. In fact, the quality and variety were good enough that we did not trek into town for dinner at all, instead happily eating in the comfort of our room after long days hiking. And, at the end of our stay, we received fresh apples from the orchard, which were crunchy, juicy, and delicious!

The mattress unfortunately was worn out (more on one side than the other), and so was not comfortable. It could do with replacing. The shower flashed cold very frequently, seemingly when others in the hotel were using water. Breakfast started at 8:30--for anyone looking for an early start, this could be a little late.

Location was just awesome. All staff were humble, polite and helpful. Had a memorable stay with family. Would highly recommend

I had a wonderful stay at 14 Gables. The location is charming, nestled in an offbeat village surrounded by apple orchards, which added to the scenic beauty. The room was clean and cozy, and the staff, especially Mr Pawan was very friendly and attentive. I also loved the hotel's cute Chow Chow dog (Sultan) which was a delightful bonus. Breakfast was tasty with a great variety. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay in Manali.

I recently stayed at a 14 Gables in Manali and had an unforgettable experience. Waking up to the sight of the snow-capped Himalayas was a highlight of my trip, providing a sense of peace and tranquility that is hard to find elsewhere. The room itself was high-tech, equipped with modern amenities like a smart TV, QR codes, and fast Wi-Fi, all of which made the stay comfortable and convenient. The hospitality at Gables was top-notch. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure that every need was met. Whether it was arranging local tours or simply offering a warm smile, they made me feel truly welcomed and cared for throughout my stay & special mention to their fluffy host Sultan. The overall ambiance of the hotel was one of peace and relaxation. Despite being close to the main attractions, it provided a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I recently stayed at The 14 Gables Hotel and it was just awesome! From the moment I walked in, the staff were super friendly and made sure I felt welcome, and honestly this is very rare these days. The hotel itself is really nice, mixing village vibes with modern comforts. My room was spotlessly clean and looked great. The bed was so comfy—I slept like a baby after a long journey. BONUS - I was given a FREE upgrade to their Corner Room as well. But what really stood out was the service. The staff went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. They gave me great tips on where to go, how to explore and eat nearby, and were always there if I needed help. Breakfast was another highlight. It was delicious and had lots of choices. The living area was nice and cozy, perfect for starting the day right. The hotel's location is perfect too. It's in a quiet area but close enough to all the main sights. All rooms have uninterrupted mountain view and hotel is surrounded by beautiful apple orchards. Whether you're here for work or fun, The 14 Gables is a great place to stay. Overall, my stay at The 14 Gables Hotel was fantastic. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Manali, but be informed that this isn't a place for average tourists who like to be close to the market or crowd.
