Lario Resort Sigiriya

The room was spacious, and clean and offered plenty of comfort for a relaxing stay. The air conditioning was powerful, which I appreciated in the heat. it kept the room perfectly cool and comfortable the whole time. The food was beautiful. Each dish had heaps of flavour and was nicely presented. What stood out to Me was the staffs attentiveness..they took the time to explain every item on the menu, including the ingredients and the traditional way of eating each dish. Their passion and care enhanced the dining experience and made every meal feel more special. The menu itself had a great balance between authentic Sri Lankan cuisine and more familiar Italian and Western-style options. This variety is perfect for those who want to experience local flavors while still having the comfort of dishes if you miss home. The location was ideal. tucked away, yet conveniently close to major attractions. Sigiriya Rock is just a short drive away, and Dambulla is only about 15 minutes by car, making it a great base for exploring the area.

very spacious rooms, good shower, fridge, great food (breakfast and diner), nice pool, easy to organize tours from (Sigiriya Rock, Dambulla Cave Temple, Polonnawura, Elephant safari), very helpful and friendly staff.

the one little thing could be that the beds where a bit creaky, but that didn’t bother us when we slept.

Panie pytały o sprzątanie dopiero popołudniu gdy już wracaliśmy do hotelu, do hotelu przyjeżdżają zorganizowane wycieczki i wtedy są dla nich wieczory tematyczne co równa się głośna muzyka w późnych godzinach.

El personal es súper amable. La dueña nos ayudó muchísimo en todo.

Die Auswahl beim Frühstück war gut. Der Pool war schön groß. Das Zimmer und die Betten waren ebenfalls sehr groß. Die Dusche hatte warmes Wasser und guten Wasserdruck.Das Badezimmer: aus unserer Toilette kam Wasser. Am Pool hat es sehr gestunken. Die Auswahl beim Frühstück war zwar sehr groß. Allerdings befanden sich teilweise Haare im Essen, einmal hatten wir eine Mücke/Käfer im Essen und die Angestellten haben das Toastbrot mit den Fingern angefasst. Alles in allem könnte die Hygiene hier verbessert werden. Der Hotelbesitzer war zwar nett, allerdings etwas aufdringlich.
