gorgeous pool looking down on ocean , fresh breeze, whale watching . staff delightful, great service, worked hard!

wish they had restaurant open for dinner as well. no other complaints

Techno music playing loudly somewhere reverberating but thankfully they stopped playing at 10:30.

They stop serving food at 3pm, which is such a pity because it’s so tasty. The walk into Mazunte town is up two big hills so it’s not so easy to grab food. You can still get limited drinks but it’s something to plan ahead for if you are arriving after three. A private fridge in the room would have made it perfect :)

We loved our stay here. Probably the best and most worthwhile place we stayed at in our trip in Mexico. Clean, gorgeous rooms, friendly staff, stunning views!

The pathway to get to the hotel can be hard on one's car. It seems like they are currently building a proper road there now so this might not be relevant anymore.

I don't usually post ridiculously positive reviews, but OceanoMar deserves every compliment. Everything was fantastic, but the crew deserves personal gratitude. After a bad Ceviche in a village nearby some caution had to be taken for my stomach. Thank you for the flexibility!

The name sounds like a cruise ship, but hey ... don't judge this book by its cover. It was the best hotel we had in three months travel so far. I can imagine if the hotel (8 rooms) are all full, the swimming pool could get busy, but we were lucky to have few other guests.
