Gästehaus Schönitz

Eine wunderschöne Pension, mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Ein so leckeres und reichhaltiges Frühstück. Und eine zauberhafte und unterhaltsame Gastgeberin. Wir waren begeistert.

Einzig der Wasserdruck in der Dusche hätte etwas kräftiger ausfallen können, aber das ist Jammern auf sehr hohem Niveau.

Für einen Wochenend-Trip nach Meißen hatten wir uns für das Gästehaus Schönitz entschieden und es nicht bereut. Uns wurde ein sehr freundlicher Empfang durch die Gastgeberin zuteil, ein wunderschönes Refugium zum Ankommen und Wohlfühlen erwartete uns! Die Zimmer sind liebevoll und detaillverliebt gestaltet, das Frühstück im restaurierten Kellergewölbe ließ keine Wünsche offen.

Gastvrijheid, een toffe dame die alles met hart en ziel doet. Fantastisch ontbijt tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Zeer mooie kamer met authentieke uitstraling.

Vom Empfang an der Gartentür über den Einzug in das phantastische Backofenzimmer, den interessanten Gesprächen mit Frau Schönitz als Gastgeberin, dem leckeren Frühstück bis zum herzlichen Abschied ... es war absolut klasse. Wir haben uns nicht einfach nur wohl, sondern unbeding willkommen gefühlt. Die Einrichtung des Hauses ist stilvoll, alles mit Herz und mit viel Liebe zum Detail hergerichtet. Danke liebe Frau Schönitz.

Absolutly top! We have travelled the world, but this experience is créme de la créme! Perfect cozy design room, very friendly, supportive and pleasant owner. Breakfest in the cellar just amazing experience...recommend, recommend, recommend...not more needs to be said.

of course, the incredibly varied breakfast - together in a family atmosphere! The landlady looked after the guests in a very friendly manner. It was always an interesting and fun start into the day. The location is perfect, close to the river with the Elbe cycle path in front of the house. Only a 15 min walk to the train station heading to Dresden, 25 min walk to the romantic places of Meissen.

.. that we had to go back home again!

High standards all round (fabulous breakfast) and attentive, likeable hostess :) Easy access to Meissen via 30 mins riverside walk. Good restaurant recommendation.

Front room a little noisy by road. Parking is across street though not a problem. Only very minor issues.

It feels like being in a little castle. The breakfast was the most incredible we have ever had. And the host’s hospitality is unmatched.
