Buenaventura Beachresort

This is my 3rd Perfect score for Buenaventura. Always my main option when visiting Sipalay.

Buenaventura is a great place to stay for us and our dog. We had the deluxe room with AC and the room and bathroom were well equipped with everything you need - fridge, bathroom accessories, newly installed split-AC! Brian was very accommodating with good recommendations about places to visit and things to do. Free water and coffee all day plus an amazing pizza were just great. Thank you!!

Brian and his wife were wonderful! They were very friendly and accommodating. Sugar Beach is a little remote, and a wonderful place to visit!

The grounds were very nice and kept clean and nice. There is a nice restaurant in the gardens. We never ate there so I can't comment. It was just to hot there and no fans. Cold beer and coffee always available. Close to the beach.Not on the beach.

I really hate leaving a bad review but this is not a good room. A fan room with the worst fan I've ever seen in my life. Making it even worse there are no screens on half the windows. It was so hot we opened them anyway. Then the mosquitoes attacked. Not a pleasant experience at all. It's hot!! A block wall in the back prevents any chance of a breeze. We spent our entire trip at another resort. Asked for a second fan but never got it.

Brian was a good host he even showed us where the Sugar Lounge was which was where my friends stayed

We liked the guy who Intertaining us.. We liked the beach a short walking distance..

Everything was very old, towels, sheets, bedding, Fan doesn't work well very rusty, TV doesn't work. If you have any young children keep an extra eye out. Because of Tarantulas... The wife of the owner is extremely rude and has a very bad attitude.
