Hotel am See

Not clean at all. There was mold in the shower. Wifi issue, conected but it was not working whole week.

Die Ruhe und die Aussicht waren super. Genau das haben wir gesucht. Gastgeber sind sehr nett und aufmerksam.

We stayed for three nights at the end of September visiting a friend in a nearby village. Our room was on the first floor with a balcony with a lovely view of the lake. It was quiet, as we were obviously out of season. The room was en suite and comfortable, with everything we needed for this short stay. Continental breakfast was included and was fine with a reasonable selection of cereals, fresh rolls, cold meats , tea and coffee etc. in a nice dining room, also with a lake view. We ate elsewhere, so can't comment on other meals. The restaurant was closed much of the time, as there were only a limited number of guests.

The WiFi in the room was slow, so don't plan on doing anything too complex there. If you booked to arrive out of season, as we did, be sure that you have a working phone number for the hotel. The system is that you phone up for a code for the keybox outside the front door. Unfortunately we didn't manage to get through on the phone number we had with a booking.com reservation. We were saved by staff at a lovely restaurant 100m away on the lakeshore, who phoned and arranged for us to be let into the hotel, after we had a key, and all was fine.
