On a bit of a whim, I decided to take my son for a short skiing trip in the Dolomites. I chose Ortisei because of its central location and reputed high standards. I browsed through a couple of recommended hotel options and stumbled across the Alpin Gardens and liked what I saw. I seemed to have everything I was looking for. I was not disappointed. The friendly service, cleanliness, great food, beautifully designed spa and pool area and convenient shuttle service turned a planned good skiing holiday into a memorable one. We will return. Well done to you Markus and to your fantastic team.

Spa and Pools are very good. Breakfast and Dinner are good as well.

There are bit problem for the location of the frig. It was put inside a cabinet. When the door got closed (it was the normal status), the cabinet becomes very hot and even cook inside the frig and the surface of the cabinet/desk.

Very nice,comfortable, clean. The personal stuff was exceptional flexibel and friendly, and always there to help! Congratulations

Lovely view of Sassolungo from the pool and terrace, lovely food, Giulia was very friendly and helpful at reception. I found the serving staff also very lovely people. The outdoor pool was always hot and so nice after skiing the whole day on Sellaronda. The hotel dog is friendly, and the Sunday night meal special was super nice! I found the location although not in the middle of town easily accessible by a short walk into Ortisei or a bus stop outside of the hotel. I also liked they will drop you off at a number of lifts too, took the stress away and got me to the snow quickly :) The hotel also offer tips of the day on your table at breakfast, and guided ski tours - I didn’t take them but liked that they had this, it’s a nice idea. I enjoyed my first trip to the dolomites and thank the team for a pleasant stay at a lovely hotel!

Personal preference: I didn’t like being assigned the same seat and table for my entire stay and all meals Sun-Thu, there is no personal preference permitted - although they did agree to move me when I asked but I couldn’t choose a sunnier window table and was still assigned the new table without preference. I’ve never experienced that at other hotels and it felt slightly clinical for me but I guess it’s down to personal preference! I went out a few nights to break it up and found some lovely places a short walk in Ortisei.

We loved everything about our stay. The interior is very distinctive compared to most hotels in the area, which adds a special charm and sets the mood for the trip. The owner and staff are extremely attentive and welcoming. All the facilities we usually look for on a ski trip are available here — spa, swimming pool, and massage services. The cuisine is delicious and creative, and the live music makes the stay truly memorable and the overall experience rich and relaxing.
