Kuba Bungalows

We really enjoyed our stay at Kuba Bungalows. The owners were really kind and helpful and the bungalow was really nice. Not much space but we got used to it super fast. Every three days we even got new sheets on the bed and everyday we became new water bottles. The restaurant was really really good as well! We had breakfast there most of the times and one time we had dinner there. It was really delicious. Absolute recommendation.

Resort was beautifully clean , food was delicious but UK prices, over priced. Not that places are obliged to give anything extra but we maybe thought with it being our honeymoon we may have had a little extra effort. Hosts are super friendly and do put effort into their food and communication. We stayed elsewhere afterwards for the same price and felt far more appreciated and we're made to feel our honeymoon was a special occasion , food was half the price and rooms far bigger and had more amenities. Overall a nice stay but can get better value for money

Ganz tolle Unterkunft mit sehr liebem Personal und Eigentümern. Wir hatten eine Maisonette-Wohnung, die super liebevoll eingerichtet war (es gibt Kokos-Duschgel! :)). Morgens begrüßen einen Hühner und freundliche Hunde, hinterm Haus gibt es noch Ziegen. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker und es gibt einige vegane und vegetarische Optionen. Es ist sehr ruhig gelegen und trotzdem nah an schönen Stränden und Restaurants (fußläufig erreichbar).

Die Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht, weil eine Maus dort reingekrochen ist. 🐁 Da kann keiner was für und die Eigentümerin war sehr bemüht! Wir haben als Alternative ein anderes Bungalow angeboten bekommen. :)

Oceniam ten "tani" bungalow, bo dużo zależy, który się weźmie. Plusy: Niska cena (ok. 1000 THB za noc). Klimatyzacja działa poprawnie. Lokalizacja blisko restauracji, gdzie można zjeść taniej i smaczniej niż na miejscu. Właścicielka pomocna (transfer, część usług dodatkowo płatna).

Ten bungalow jest dla mało wymagających, zdjęcia nie oddają tego, jak mały jest w środku. Bardzo mały bungalow (ok. 10 m²), łóżko zajmuje większość przestrzeni, brak miejsca na bagaże. Nie ma ani jednej szafy, półki, czegokolwiek. Nieszczelna łazienka – obecność zwierząt i odchody pojawiające się każdej nocy. Łazienka wymaga ręcznego zgarniania wody po prysznicu. Liczne informacje o wysokich karach za uszkodzenia (ręczniki, pościel, łóżko, cały bungalow). Słaby standard wypożyczonego skutera (stary, niedopompowane koło, niedziałające kierunkowskazy) i wyższa cena niż ustalona wcześniej.

I was so sad to leave Baz and Kung and the beautiful place they've created. They were so lovely and helped me organise snorkelling and scuba diving trips (I even went on to do my PADI qualification which was incredible). They arranged to have breakfast ready for me each morning so I could eat before I left each day which was delicious as was the coffee. They hired mopeds for use around the island, which you do need for exploring as there's no Grab here - it's rugged and rural so do explore, the fishing villages i saw were gorgeous and i didnt make it to any of the waterfalls due to doing my diving certification but I hear they are worth a visit too. The accommodation is quirky bamboo bungalows, mine had a nice balcony, toilet and shower room, comfy bed, and aircon. It was small but perfect for me - i also loved the chickens and ducks and goats, and the yummy food. The cafe/restaurant area is a nice place to hang out too. They also had a really sweet kitten!

I wish I could have stayed longer!

Eine tolle Unterkunft, geführt von einem sehr netten englisch/thailändischen Paar. Mein Bungalow war top, einzig die Tatsache, dass es auch hier wieder eine typisch thailändische offene Dusche gab, die das halbe Bad unter Wasser gesetzt hat, hat mich gestört.  Im dazugehörenden Restaurant gab es auch Frühstück (nicht incl.) und auch explizit vegetarisch/ vegane Gerichte 👍. Die Lage ist gut, wer motorisiert ist, hat sowieso kein Problem, ich bin 30 Minuten zu Fuß zum Khlonghin Beach gegangen, was für mich kein Problem war. Ich hatte aber auch die WhatsApp Nummer eines Taxis bekommen 😉 Absolute Empfehlung!
