Kuba Bungalows

Warm welcome, very cute bamboo bungalows, excellent natural food, individualized service, extremely good value for money. Several wonderful beaches close by and easily reachable by scooter (which I learned to ride at Kuba Bungalows ☺️).

This was the most beautiful and peaceful place we stood on our trip through Thailand. It‘s a little paradise in the middle of rainforest. The (not so) small bungalow gave us our privacy while you only need a few steps to enjoy a delicious meal or a mango shake 🥰 I also loved the goats (with a cute baby goat) that have a suitable enclosure just behind our bungalow. The hosts Kung and her husband were super nice and helpful.

Absolutely nothing to complain about

- Great location - many great restaurants/cafes within a 5min walk and beautiful Bang Bao beach just a 20min walk. - The family bungalow which we stayed in is very clean and comfortable - we loved staying here, the layout was great and we had all the amenities we needed during our stay. - The bed sheets and towels smell sooooo good. The beds were some of the loveliest we’ve slept in during 12 months of travels in Asia! - Lovely garden and surroundings at the bungalow. The hosts’ two dogs are wonderful!! ❤️ - The meals at the guesthouse restaurant are very tasty and good value.

Super friendly owners, and the place was very clean. Everything in the room worked well. The room was small but sufficient for spending some time there – exactly as described. There is also an option to choose larger rooms. The restaurant, which is also run by the owners, is a great place to eat or relax later on. The entire complex is really nice and cozy. They also helped us with renting a motorbike and booking a ferry – highly recommended place to stay!

We have been travelling Asia for 2 months now and this is where we have been looked after the most. The lovely couple that run this accommodation never had us needing anything! They so kindly accommodated even our biggest asks. The family room is gorgeous & so well equipped. Food is amazing. Animals on the properly are SO cute and never disturbed us. You can rent scooters here for a very reasonable price. Good location, not far from nice restaurants & beaches. Host also works with diving centre and can help you organise this if interested. Pool table and darts on site too. Kept very entertained!

We had a great time! The bungalows are lovely, the owners super nice and very helpful. It feels very familiar chatting on the porch and they give good advices. Also the food was great!

The family unit was ok and had two good size sleeping areas. However, the stairs probably wouldn’t be great with small children. Also, there was a serious ant problem. I know ants are usually a given but there seemed to be a lot more than what we had experienced elsewhere.

I think we were unlucky as when we arrived the owner had gone away. This meant that there was literally no one there and no facilities to get food and drink. We had been in contact with the owner beforehand so thought this could have been communicated. Wasn’t a major issue but was frustrating when you wake up with hungry children! Also, when the owner did return she was far from friendly! The stay was overall ok but considering that there are plenty of other options on the island I don’t think I would recommend or return.

Lovely place to start our holiday and get the Thai vibes again. We had the small bungalow and for us it was good enough. Beds are ok but not great Very lovely owners who will do anything to enjoy your stay Though breakfast was not included it is recommended to use it here We didn't have dinner but we heard it was great We really loved our stay

They are in control of your airconditioner so after the first night, which was too hot, we asked them to make the room cooler and so they did and everything was great again Wifi not great
