Welcoming heritage haveli

This is honestly one of the best places you can stay in Pushkar. What I really loved is the wide variety of rooms, there are very spacious ones that are perfect if you’re traveling as a couple, but also many smaller, more affordable options. So it really suits every kind of traveler. The place is incredibly clean, and the service is outstanding. I truly felt at home here, almost like being part of a family. The staff is warm, helpful, and always there if you need anything. There’s a beautiful rooftop area with a restaurant, and the whole property is spread over several floors. Everything is decorated with so much love and attention to detail, it creates such a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. They offer a full range of services: you can arrange taxis, book bus or train tickets, and even use the laundry service. It really feels like a full-service hotel, but at a much more affordable price. The rooms are well-equipped and always very clean. During my stay, I even changed rooms a few times because I kept extending my trip in Pushkar and it was never a problem at all, everything was handled smoothly. Another big highlight is the location. It’s slightly away from the hustle and bustle, so it’s very quiet and peaceful, which made it perfect for relaxing, even during the day. At the same time, you still have a lovely view of the lake and easy access to everything. I would definitely come back here every year and highly recommend it to all my friends.

The only small thing I noticed – and it’s something that might just come from my own perspective, as I’m from Germany where working conditions are different – is that one of the reception staff seemed to sleep near the front desk. While it’s of course convenient for late check-ins, I personally would have loved for him to have his own private space. That being said, he was incredibly kind, and I really enjoyed getting to know him. This is not a criticism of the accommodation itself, just a reflection of my personal values.
