Hotel Kota kunj Heritage

Built around 400 years ago by the king of Kota. We had the privilege to stay in the Queen's room. Everything was perfect from arrival to departure. Warm welcome from the owner of the property, Mr Rajesh and his wife. Very caring people, attentive to our needs, Mr Rajesh is also a pandit, a person full of wisdom and he kindly offered to make our puja for our ancestors. The staff members are available on the phone anytime for help. Big thanks to Gaurav. The space is very clean, bed is comfortable and one of the rarest place found right on Pushkar lake. We have been several times in pushkar and this is the best place by its location, access to temples and facilities. They also serve meals at the property. We definitely recommend the Kota Kunj Hotel.

Me and my family LOVE Kota Kunj Heritage. We are from Brasil and we spent Diwali over there. We arrived in the acommodatiom at 03am and we were recepted with hot tea and rain of roses. The owners are the lovely Rajesh and Nirmla they took us in their own car to spend Diwali together. We had lots of fun. We felt as a family. We are so thankful. I got sick because of indian street food and they gave me natural medication and tea. The staff is absolutely friendly. We love Gaurav. The property is just by side of Pushkar Lake and they have a special Ghat. Proporty has perfect location, very near to Brahma Temple. Hotel Kota Kunj has a beautiful story that Rajesh will kindly tell you.

I like everything in Kota Kunj Heritage. Nothing wrong.

The location and history of the hotel is amazing! Beautiful view of the lake, access to the roof top terrace and great food prepared fresh (we particularly enjoyed Guravs Paneer butter masala and rose lassi) The hotel has 2 tortoises which we enjoyed a lot. Our room had a private bathroom, plenty of space and an amazing view of the lake. Being close to the lake we could hear the bells and prayers and we were a very close walk to the markets where we found the locals to be very friendly.

2 small things to note - 1) returning late from a wedding we were locked out, when we rang we were let in very quickly but it was a little scary as we had expected 24hr entry. 2) At the time of our stay we had to pay in cash rather than by card. The atm is a short walk from the hotel and it was a little inconvenient, but the hotelier Gaurav very kindly gave us a lift to the atm for safety.

Kota Kunj Palace is right on the lake and has beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The family of this historical property has opened their hearts and home for a truly unique and blessed experience this amazing property shows a glimpse of the past and also is being refurbished with modern amenities I feel inlove with the family and there hospitality and they made me feel like I was family.There are many things to explore close by the Hotel, temples and markets full of engry, or you can find a quiet place and sit on the steps and drink fresh masala tea. The only thing that bothered me was the Mosquito's So please take repellent as these little bugs always find a way to bite and suck your blood.

Nice location. Food was also testy.

The location of this accommodation could not be better. It is right on the steps of the lake with its own private access. We booked the luxury quadruple room and one of the lake facing king rooms and were able to sit and watch the life playing out all around the lake. The family and staff are lovely, my 12 year old son loved that they played badminton with him one evening, and we were all charmed by the two tortoises who live in the garden. The view from the rooftop is sensational, and

Our bathroom had a bit of a smell, but my daughter’s bathroom was fine.

This is such a unique experience staying in a renovated palace on the lake. If you have the opportunity to upgrade to the private balcony it’s an incredible experience. My wife and I sat out there in the evening looking out over the lake and it was a truly magical experience. The owner was also very helpful and friendly.

They should add a fridge in the room. Shower was cold but not much of an issue

This place is a small heaven in Pushkar. It has a private access to the sacred lake, a beautiful garden, an amazing place to eat and relax. Gaurev and the staff are very helpful and kind. I was sick for a day and they took splendid care of me. Sweet, gentle and lovely atmosphere. The room has AC and ventilator and the bed is very comfortable. I will definetely come back. Thanks for your hospitality!
