Family was very friendly and room view of lake was amazing!

Hot water didn’t seem to work from shower but did from taps, though admittedly I didn’t ask them to help and Lakeview room was bright at night.

Great location overlooking the lake, just a moments stroll to the markets. The owners are a lovely family who were very welcoming, the Dad even took us on an impromptu tour around the lake on the first night! Very cool. Rooms were clean and looked just like pictures.

It’s a bit noisy at night but that was outside noise so would an issue anywhere around the lake. Couldn’t get hot water in shower to work but hot water in tap still worked so was able to wash.

It’s a beautiful old building with a lovely view of the lake and it’s own privet entrance onto the ghats. The staff we friendly and helpful and the food in the hotel was lovely. All in all our stay was very pleasant.

There wasn’t any WiFi during our stay which was quite a hindrance for us. The water and electricity would be off quite frequently but I think that was due to some works going on for the camel fair so not really the hotels fault.

If you want to take in all the magic that Pushkar has to offer, without constantly being emerged in it, then Kota Kunj is the most wonderful gem you can stay at. Located right on the OTHER side of the little Pushkar lake, you will have the most amazing view over this magical town. We stayed in the smallest room, but the hotel has so many cozy corners on the property, that the size was never a worry !!

The location was great. The rooftop dining area was beautiful, both to look at and to sit in as we looked out over the lake. We were happy to be away from the busy tourist hubs. We liked that this is a family business, and everyone was friendly and helpful.

There were some mosquitos in the room when we arrived as the ventilation in the bathroom had no screen. The air conditioner was a little noisy.
