Atour Hotel Kunming Jiantou Building Jingkai District

The breakfast was delightful - we love the soya bean curd “bar” with its array of condiments, the live noodle station and the freshly made dumplings. The staff at the breakfast restaurant made our day with their friendliness and hospitality. The counter staff were helpful and welcoming. We didn’t use the gym or laundry room but the lobby area, though small, was cosy and clean. We walked around the neighborhood and found a row of restaurants. The 宜威菜 restaurant - about 10 min walk away - was outstanding. Just another 5 min further, there’s a Walmart too. Situated in a suburban neighborhood, staying at Atour gave us a different perspective into life in Kunming.

Great and comfortable hotel

Too far away from Kunming South Station. Staff don’t speak English but are quite good with using Google translate.

Lekker en uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. Ruime, schone kamer. Alles was netjes.

De buurt is niet echt romantisch te noemen. Het was wel even zoeken naar een eethuisje in de omgeving.

Nice clean modern room.

Check in process was complicated.

Room, laundry facilities, breakfast, Some staff were very helpful. Clean hotel. Reasonable location.

No internet coverage for foreigners. Some younger staff were not very helpful. Very few parking spaces. Not many eating places near by.

A bit further from the Kunming South train station than I expected. About a 20 min taxi ride.
