"A hidden gem, perfect for a stay around Kuusamo"

Very welcoming place to stay, comfortable beds, spacious room and the owner (who is also the chef) makes you feel right at home. The restaurant is simple but the food is fantastic, a fusion of traditional Finnish and Asian cuisine - a real gourmet treat (and well worth a visit even if you are not staying at the hotel)! “Pro tip”: you can ask to buy a loaf of the home made malt bread that is served with the starters in the restaurant.

The bathrooms are very basic and somewhat dated (but nevertheless clean and functional).

We were the only guests but the owner was very accommodating and took great care of us. The food was delicious and plentiful. We would definitely stay again.
