La proximité de la plage

1. Nous avions réservé une chambre avec vue sur la montagne/la rivière, nous nous sommes retrouvé dans une chambre avec une seule fenêtre donnant à l'intérieur de l'hôtel sans lumière du jour. 2.La chambre sentait énormément l'humidité. 3. Nous avons donné notre linge à laver le jour de notre arrivée (nous sommes restés deux jours) et la dame a réussi à nous le rendre humide et le dernier jour... 4. Cerise sur le gâteau nos affaires ont été mouillées car de l'eau coulait du plafond.

La ubicación es privilegiada, muy cerca del río. La atención de Yohelys es excepcional, atenta a los detalles y a cada cosa que los huéspedes necesitan. El hostal está bien cuidado, las habitaciones limpias y organizadas. Me hospedé en la planta baja, habitación frente al mar, y me encantó. Tienen paneles solares, por lo que la electricidad y el wifi funcionan muy bien.

Como lo han mencionado en otros comentarios la cabaña es de madera, por lo que el ruido de otros huéspedes en el segundo piso se siente bastante en la parte inferior durante la mañana. Si tienen sueño sensible o liviano, recomiendo llevar tapones.

Great location on the beach, at the end of the strip of accommodation so really quiet at night. Room was comfortable enough and staff were friendly even though it was hard to communicate due to our lack of Spanish

Amazing location on the beach - near the end of the beach strip - just stunning The room was lovely, with a mosquito net and fan to keep you cool, clean bathrooms. Yohrly is a star - making us coffee every morning and making sure we were enjoying our stay. The man whose name I can’t remember was lovely to chat to in slow Spanish and was passionate about the area and eco tourism.

There is some building work going on - this is at most of the properties along the beach - it did not affect us as we were on the beach most of the day. Nothing to do with the hotel but make sure you have cash when you visit this area no atms and not everywhere takes cards

It is a wonderful location, right on the beach, near to some amazing restaurants! The room was lovely, nice fan to keep you cool, clean bathrooms. They looked after our big bags whilst we went to Tayrona for 1 night which is a massive plus. Yohrly was extremely helpful, always making us coffee, always smiling, making sure we were happy!! The man (who's name I didn't get unfortunately) was always extremely friendly and talking to us in slow Spanish so we could practice! Loved our stay!

There's no ATM nearby (not the hotels fault) just as a note for other travellers so bring as much cash from Santa Marta as you can! Most places take card but with 5% charge but cash is best I think!. The hotel takes card with 5% which is great!

Not so clean, there was already sand in the bathroom and in the room when we arrived, but well you are on the beach.. No AC, it was very humid in the room No hot water

We had the room with a sea view. It was so nice to wake up like that in the morning. The mattresses were a bit better than in other hostels in Colombia. Yoheli was a great hostess, my friend was sick and she totally took care of him. We were able to make tea and she helped us wherever she could. A really great hostess, really. And the breakfast was delicious,too.

It would be nice to have one more hammock in Front of the room. But this is really a luxury problem

Only the wifi could be a bit better.

Great location, 10min walk from the main road bus stop. Lots of good restaurants around. Welcoming staff, Johely was very helpful, engaging and would recommend the best parts of the beach

It is a chalet completely wood built which is pretty. But it is quite noisy, specially in he morning for unconsidered guests staying upstairs with heavy steps. However at night it is surprisingly very quiet. Next time I will ask for a room upstairs
