After staying at many small Sri Lankan independent hotel / guest houses, from the very north to the south this is undoubtedly the best. One of 2 reviews from me as most other being average: This place is perfectly run, perfectly maintained, great pool and great breakfasts! The evening restaurant offers a mix of Italian and Sri Lankan dishes and after a few weeks traveling nothing beats a homemade Lasagna with a glass of Red! The Beach at 2 mins away is also nr perfect. Even with the rough seas experienced on this coast there is a northern corner that is calm enough to enjoy a good swim. Well done team and Gaby, you run a great establishment. I hope to return with many friends. T

Nothing to say here honestly If you want the sea view, there is no. But it’s totally no need, the sea is very close

Gaby (and her cute pups) is the best host we've stayed with during our time in Sri Lanka. She was always available to help with anything we needed and had some great recommendations for places to see around the area as well. She invited us in very warmly and felt like family when it was time to finally leave. We would definitely stay here again! The room was gorgeous, very large, and had everything you could want (with European quality/standards too!). The bed was very comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, and the bathroom was luxurious with a separate shower area so the floor did not get wet in the main area. The shower head and hot water were great as well! Breakfasts with Gaby were delicious and the perfect balance of variety and quantity. We really appreciated the homemade jam and beautiful flower decorations as well! We will be dreaming of this room and this experience as we continue our travels in Asia. Thank you again for an amazing stay!
