Staff very helpful room was very clean bed was comfortable,down side due to the very hot weather we didn't have a good night's sleep, not the hotels fault and I'm totally not in any way blaming they hotel but I guess due to health and safety and age of the building the window only opened a little bit so no fresh air came in it was so hot I would definitely say the room was in need of a fridge in tea and coffee was supplied but in my opinion they should also have left water in the room,as we had nothing to drink all, and yes it was our fault but for the cost of the room I don't think this is a lot to ask for. On the plus side a small fan was in the room but it made little difference, room was very clean, bed was comfortable bathroom was in and clean. Breakfast was really good very tasty.

No air con in the room and definitely needs a fridge in the room, and bottles of water.

​Unless you have no other choice, do not stay here. The rooms were boiling hot with no aircon (just a small fan), no complimentary drinking water, and no towels in the bathroom when we arrived, we had to ask for them at reception. ​On top of that, they charged £25 for early key collection and forced a 10:30 AM checkout despite advertising 12:00 PM online. When challenged, the staff blamed Booking.com, complained about only having two cleaners, and called me rude for asking them to update their terms. Unprofessional management and a very poor experience overall.

Plenty of parking , nice bar area / seating

Room was hot , but was understandable given the temperature outside , fan was provided though which helped

Nice room, very good dining area with excellent food and service. Good car park with easy access from room, very friendly efficient staff. Nice breakfast

Not a lot, the breakfast menu was somewhat difficult to understand, the full English breakfast was good and large but it appeared that apart from endless coffee nothing else was available although there were continental options and other options. Basically if I have a full English I would expect to have maybe a croissant and jam as well ie as in a Premier Inn. Not that significant a point and does not detract from this being a very nice place to stay a few nights.
