Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich. Das sehr alte Haus wurde liebevoll renoviert und ist außerordentlich geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstück und auch das Abendessen war hervorragend.

Stayed here for 3 nights and it was beyond our expectation. Once we get into the hustle bustle of Udaipur's Old City, it was a bit overwhelming. But once we got into the gates of this hostel, we felt instantly at home. Every corner was designed beautifully, especially our very beautiful orange room with the turquoise door. We took a lot of photo at the picturesque window nook :D. Not to mention the place was squeaky clean, the breakfast was nice, and the service is detailed and warm. We also got good recommendations for tour guide and craft shops. Akshay (the owner) surely had a great taste and a vision with his business. Will recommend this place to everyone visiting Udaipur who wants to have a memorable stay, not only a room to sleep.

Das Little Garden Guesthouse war mit Abstand die schönste Unterkunft auf unserer Indienreise. Wir hatten ein gemütliches, sehr schön eingerichtetes Zimmer. Das gesamte Guesthouse ist sehr sauber und das gesamte Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir wurden fast täglich gefragt, ob wir Room service benötigen. Auch Wäsche waschen ist gegen einen schmalen Taler möglich. Frühstücken kann man indisch oder kontinental. Das Hotel hat eine sehr gute Lage direkt hinter dem Stadtpalast. Von hier ist nahezu jede Sehenswürdigkeit fußläufig erreichbar. Wir hatten uns leider (außerhalb) sehr starken Reisedurchfall eingefangen, weshalb wir einen Arzt benötigten. Der Besitzer des Guesthouses organisierte innerhalb von 10min einen Hausbesuch und fuhr uns auch auf seinem Motorrad zur nahegelegenen Arztpraxis, wartete vor Ort und brachte uns wieder zurück. Service und Bemühungen wirklich 10/10.

Dass es in indischen Städten gerne etwas lauter ist, merkt man auch hier. Die Wasserpumpe oder bellende Hunde können da durchaus den Schlaf etwas stören. Ich empfehle Ohropax, unabhängig von der Unterkunft in Indien. In unserem Zimmer gab es keinen Fernseher. Uns hat es nicht gestört, aber es sei darauf hingewiesen.

Haveli bellissimo e vicino al centro. Autenticità e comfort moderni perfettamente bilanciati. Pulizia impeccabile, acqua calda e aria condizionata (non così scontati in India 😅). Ottima colazione, staff gentilissimo e proprietario super simpatico. Consigliatissimo!

The haveli is more than 200 years old yet very well maintained and decorated. The room was so cute and the view from the balcony was amazing. Breakfast was not a big one but they offer god Indian breakfast or continental one, which was also good. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was very accessible to anywhere within walking distance so I did not take any rickshaw or taxi. Although located in the very center of the city, it was so quiet and calm in the haveli.

Almost nothing but the first time I arrived the airport the pickup car did not come. But they arranged alternative taxi and rickshaw smoothly. For Japanese tourists, it might be better to bring slippers or sandals as there are no such room shoes as usual in India.
