Estate Kalaitzis

The property has a majestic appearance with a stunning view. The hostess Jota is most friendly and provided us with lots of information. The room has a classical appearance but it’s really clean.

The host -though friendly, appeared totally drained of energy. The so-called outstanding breakfast consisted exclusively of supermarket products and little standard hotel marmelade, honey, butters. Quite disappointing for such a majestic estate. The bar and dining room are a mess, and outside several lamp posts have fallen over and the fontain at the entrance didn’t work. The bar has a beautiful selection of wines, yet they only served a mediocre wine. Nothing dramatic, but the estate urgently needs a revitalisation to regain the high-end public it deserves.

The location is terrific. The view is stunning and the vines are beautiful. The breakfast was yummy and the rooms are gorgeous. The staff was very attentive.

The beds were a little hard and need easier access to a plug for phones, etc. the dinner could have been better.

Établissement remarquable, dans un lieu exceptionnel, géré par un couple charmant, aux petits soins, entreprenant et courageux. Le restaurant est très agréable sur la terrasse avec une vue à couper le souffle. Et les repas sont bons.

Le lit est un peu dur pour nous mais c’est subjectif.

The hotel and the rooms were beautiful. It had the feel and charm and character of an old building, however, I was surprised to find out that the family had built it themselves in the late 90's. Wonderful views across the valley, Haliacmon lake, Veria and the hills. Run by a lovely, welcoming, hard-working family. Dinner and breakfast were superb - Cheese pie at breakfast was particularly gorgeous!

Although the huge bath in the Grand Suite was lovely, unfortunately I was unable to persuade the Spa bath/jacuzzi element to come to life. My daughter said her Spa bath was a plain bath with coloured lights (I didn't investigate).

Belle demeure dans les vignobles, décorée avec des objets anciens et des tableaux.. Agréable jardin avec des pergolas où on peut manger. Chambre spacieuse. Bon accueil

La chambre est un peu sombre mais agréable.
