Plum Pudding

The Plum Pudding came highly recommended by a work colleague and it didn't disappoint. Had a meal with colleagues in the evening of my stay and the food was superb. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Room was great. All facilities were clean and well maintained. I would recommend to others and would happily re-book in the future.

The in-room breakfast supplies were generous and practical. And it was nice to be able to eat on our own schedule.

The bed was very firm and uncomfortable. The shower had no door or curtain, so water splashed out a bit. Not their fault, but we were there just after Christmas and every place to get a hot breakfast or lunch nearby was closed.

Excellent food available in the pub and the staff are extremely hospitable and helpful.

Breakfast was ok for a cold, self-service breakfast, (fruit was a bit over-ripe, cheap orange juice in cartons, croissants in packets were a bit stale) but am sure a cooked breakfast here would be amazing based on how good dinner was. I found the pillows uncomfortable personally, which might be a minor thing but did detract from an otherwise brilliant place to stay.
