Besso Beach Hotel

The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. The bar and restaurant are beautiful with a fabulous view. The beach is a short walk away.

One of the windows in our room (301) was missing/broken. In the morning, we wanted to have coffee in the restaurant. There was none. My husband went to a store a few minutes away to purchase coffee and milk. We were then told that we would have to pay 5 soles for hot water to make the coffee. We were unhappy with the fact that we had already had to leave to buy our own supplies that any hotel or restaurant should have, and unimpressed that, after not even having it served to us (we boiled water and cleaned our cups after drinking it) that they would still try to charge for hot water.

There was no breakfast, and the kitchen was not open during the day. The hotel is not located near he beach as indicated. The pool is just an over sized bathtub with questionably clean water. I would not dare use it. There are no windows or balconies on the wall towards the beach which is very odd.

No breakfast, a long walk to the beach, no windows towards the beach, no restaurant during the day, no room service, no room cleaning or towels exchange, fake pool, and so on
