"It gave me a room to stay for the night."

The room was clean, I could move the 2 beds together to make it more comfortable. I could open the window fully.

Noone checked the room before the check-in. It was very, very hot. The heating must have been on 100% for a few days. I could have called the front desk, but I was exhausted and tired. I helped the situation by opening the window at a time it was below freezing outside. I could have asked for a different room or help, but, again, that night, I was just too tired to do that. The fact that they can't recommend a breakfast place for the morning rubbed me the wrong way. Other than that the front desk was friendly.
