Dinner was fantastic!

Maybe add an air-conditionr to the sea view room

John and the team made sure we felt like home, with a beautiful view over Cambutal beach a few meters away - with butterflies, wales, and monkeys around 🤩 The food is amazing and I would definitely visit Kambutaleko next time I am around.

excellent attention, amazing location and view

A hidden gem with the nicest staff, amazing food and drinks in calm, relaxed and beautiful surroundings. We could watch whales and tons of butterflies from our terrace, enjoyed the same great view from our hammocks and my husband was excited by the waves he surfed. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Great location with mountain view to sea view. Great staff, very friendly and outstanding dinning, every plate of food was prepared exceptionally well, very delicious! Rooms are reasonably priced for area and provide your basic amenities. Be sure to seek a room with air conditioner as not all rooms have A/C.

Ceiling fan chain was short or inop. Road going up hill could be a challenge on rainy days for some small cars but is negotiable in low gear.

The hotel had great views of mountains and the ocean overall. We had a room, that when you walked outside, you could see the ocean! I liked that. The owner of the hotel gave me a vase full of flowers from the garden to put in our room to celebrate our wedding anniversary. There was a variety of food on the menu that the chef prepared for breakfast and dinner only. And it was all delicious! And they had a bar.

The few things we didn't like was we took the local bus to Cambutal and the bus driver let us off at the bottom of a steep 100m walk up the hill to the hotel. We had free wifi but was very spotty. You could get it outside your room but not inside. The dining area was nice but at night when the lights were on it attracts bugs and there are no fans to help circulate the air and keep the bugs at bay.

Everything was great

Good basic acccomodation. No airco or hot water in my room (there is one room with airco). It gets hot in the room. We were in Cambutal for a fishing trip with friends. I was alone and basic was good enough. The food is very good, fresh and very affordable.
