Alimas Holiday Retreat Maldives

We had a wonderful week in Alimas... everything was perfect! Perfect place... delicious food... super staff! We will stay in Alimas again without any doubt.. Thank you Rafeeu..Thank you Fahar and all the staff for making this holiday unique!!

Alimas retreat is centrally located. Upon arrival only a few steps to the entrance. We were greeted and escorted to our rooms cordially. The room was very large and had a nice balcony. The food was really good. My husband took part in some fishing trips and he was very successful. What we liked the most is the staff and a very welcoming atmosphere in the guest house.

- very helpful family-like staff responding to every request you have - delicious breakfasts and dinners, with a chef making sure you loved everything on your plate; dinners are different each evening, and you have a choice of dishes; fresh seafood! - rooms are cleaned every day, with water and coffee provided, as well as clean towels - I absolutely loved the excursions! I took two of them, every time being assisted by mr. Hasan in open water, i didn't have a thing to worry about! I also got nice video shootings of me snorkeling 🤿 - managers are always here to help you find your boat to the island in the airport; also you are met on the shore on your arrival to the spot - free beach towels every day and snorkeling equipment available - beautiful spacious room; I especially loved the balcony for you to have late coffee in an open air - I was also given a free little trip around the island on my first day by mr. Hasan! It's very comfortable as soon as I didn't know a thing about the location

Absolutely perfect, we were well taken care of. Whatever we needed they arranged for us ( excursions, diving). We needed a waterproof patch ( my wife had an accident while diving) - they arranged for the purchase and delivery from Male. We would love to return. Hotel and staff meet European standard not 4* but 5*.

We had a wonderful 5 days at Alimas and we loved every minute. Perfect place to stay in the Maldives - Delicious food - Fantastic staff - Super fun activities Nice big room with AC Swimming with the sharks was fantastic, shipwreck snorkeling was amazing, great night fishing.

Great staff, fantastic food, overall very nice stay. Rafeeu - the manager is an extremely nice and helpful person. Each of meals was served like in high class restaurant and was of a great taste. I highly recommend the place.

Beach was nice but not great, however snorkeling at house reef was quite nice. We did not particularly like the open shower in the bathroom - however we knew how the bathroom looks like before arrival - so no negative surprise.

Really good value for money, the staff are very helpful and they organise the best excursions. Big thanks to Rafeeu and Fahar for making our stay wonderful. Will highly recommend. The food menu is very good and the chef also takes time to take care of any requirements, simply amazing.

A hair-raising speedboat trip from Male, to be greeted by Rafeau on the quayside, and a 20-yard walk to the residence. Food great - simple breakfast, but just what we wanted, and evening meals demonstrating the variety of local seafood. There are 'Western' alternatives but for us the fish was always first choice, apart from a memorable curry feast provded by Dilantha, the accomplished Sri Lankan chef. Other Sri Lankan staff including Fahar and Pradeep (the only names we could remember, but all staff were excellent) looked after us so well.

No fault of the Maldives, but I could have done with a cold beer!

It was a wonderful vacation! Thank you to the whole team of Alimas holiday resort! You are the best and it really is! The chef prepares great dishes. Everything was delicious!The guys organized a fantastic trip to a desert island, night fishing. You will not be bored on this island with this hotel team. The staff is very hospitable, responsive. All our days started with a smile. Any request is executed instantly. In this hotel you feel welcome. I recommend this particular hotel for a holiday.
