Molah Gili Villa

Loved the stay at Molah Gili! The room was amazing! So comfortable! Towels in swans and decorated the beds with flowers! The pool was amazing and so nice to relax in. The breakfast was very yummy! Most of all though the staff were excellent! So friendly and could have a nice chat with them and were so helpful also! Will 100% return here in the future!

Overall we loved our stay at Molah. It was great value for money (factoring in that we arrived during the shoulder season before the start of high season). Our villa & terrace was very spacious. The room was very comfortable, ac worked very well and queen bed was very big. Daily housekeeping was appreciated. The terrace area had a large drying rack, which was great for wet bathing suits & towels and we used the sofa for chilling in the evenings. The pool & pool area was wonderful to relax in after lounging at the beach. We used it daily during our 6 night stay. The staff are super friendly and always available to help if needed. Breakfast options were good. Location wise it’s also very near the harbor and the east side of the island (great for snorkeling). A short walk to many restaurants and cafes. The owner also owns Zipp Bar and Bungalow. So we were able to use their sun beds and cabanas for free during the day.

Our bathroom was very dated and needed repairs. It was functional in the end but specifically the toilet did not flush well, the pipe under the sink had slipped off the tube (we had to reattach, otherwise water spilled everywhere), the ceiling over the sink was clipping paint in a lot of places, the shower head position was ridiculously tall (even for someone who was 175 cm), and there use to be stones around the shower but now it’s just an empty space.

I had a wonderful stay at Molah, I booked for 3 nights and ended up staying for 6 nights. I booked a deluxe room, which is the newer format, and this was excellent value for money. These rooms are sparkling new, the beds were the comfiest I have slept on in Indonesia, and the team was so friendly and helpful. Felt like I was staying at a homestay. Other reviewers have complained about the breakfast, but I found it great, a few things to choose from (eggs/pancakes/muesli) plus fresh fruit/juice and a hot drink. They don't have a coffee machine but serve traditional Balinese-style coffee. Probably my favourite part, though, was the villa cats! They have a ragdoll cat and some others that live on the property that are all so friendly!

Amazing place, beautiful, clean, comfortable, great rooms and bathrooms. Pool and bar area is lovely. The staff are amazing, special thanks to Zahar. If you like cats they have the most beautiful and friendly family of cats too.

You’ll get woken up by cockerels but that’s common in Gili

Was a little piece of paradise. Clean facilities, friendly staff. they offered a snorkeling boat tour which was half the price of the other dedicated tourism booths, didn't do it but nice to have. Room was so cute with the rose petals and folded swan. Nice welcome drink, included breakfast was lovely as well. the outdoor indoor shower was heaven. We would have extended our stay if we didn't have to leave. The cats were so cute. I saw no sign of this complaining girl everyone was commenting about, the only kid there was sweet.
