"Lovely Birthday visit"

Lovely building and rooms with all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay. Cosy and welcoming feel and helpful, friendly staff. Great food and good choice at the bar. My son's birthday on the morning we left, and the staff were kind enough to bring out a cake and candles as he was finishing his breakfast. Many thanks.

Only downside was the busy road, but I was aware of that when I booked and the hotel was in a great location for the places we were visiting. It didn't spoil or visit at all.

"Good friendly hotel but needs space for cyclists as well as car drivers!"

We are mature cyclists visiting parts of the country we are not familiar with….but staying in hotels. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable.

Compared to other hotels on this trip …..dry space for storing bikes hadn’t been thought about. As more folk are becoming interested in sustainable travel that’s disappointing. This was the most expensive stay on the current trip.

Friendly staff. Good easy to find location and great place for visiting popular areas in the Cotswolds. Our Courtyard room was small but well equipped , clean & the bed was very comfortable. Serviced daily and very welcoming with lights and radio left on low. Breakfast made to order rather than buffet so was very fresh. Good choice of anything on the menu included in the price. Evening meal in the restaurant was good.

More easily accessible sockets for the kettle, coffee machine , hairdryer and to charge phones would be our only recommendation. They were all near floor level behind something or underneath the desk area. However we appreciate that it is an older building and it was a minor inconvenience.

Friendliness of staff and easy check in.

Breakfast arrangements. Have cereals and juice in the breakfast room so people can help themselves whilst they wait for their cooked breakfast/
