Castle House Hotel

Friendly staff, lovely room and delicious breakfast.

The grass being mown when eating breakfast outside and a rogue seagull eating the remains of breakfast on tables that should have been cleared.

Friendly, helpful welcome from reception, car parking was possible (although limited), excellent breakfast served in a bright conservatory overlooking the river.

Small car park, we were unsure if we would be able to park on arrival, we were very pleased that we did get a space!

Welcoming, comfortable and handy. Pond-side beer in the garden bar in the sun was a highlight.

The hotel itself was lovely , however we were put in the townhouse down the road which was not a patch on the hotel . I felt £170 for what we stayed in was a rip off !

I had booked it for my partner as a Valentines present . The room / building was so disappointing. Had I known that was where we were staying I would never have booked it .

Location, extremely quiet, car parking

Room was rather small and struggled with the lighting system. Quite expensive for the room.

The position of the Hotel was superb. The room was great and the breakfast was extremely good.
