Didn't like the all glass bathroom door married for 40 years but the one place you have privacy is in the 🚽

Surprising place. More like a B&B. Large room with a terrace leading to the garden, large and well-appointed bathroom. The family will cook for you if you pre-order, and there is a well-stocked fridge in your room as well as in the lobby. Your hosts are very friendly.

If it feels like the basement ("Einliegerwohnung") of a single family home, that is because that's what it is. A couple of rooms on the ground floor, but they were out of use and/or untidy. It feels a bit awkward to intrude into other people's lives.

First impression was great. The check in was simple, hosts were actually on holiday, but a quick call and the door was opened remotely. Room was bright, and big. Bathroom was nice too.

Room was rather cold, heating was set rather low. The bathroom didn't have any soap for shower. Had to use the hand soap. Walls are rather thin, was woken at 3 in the night by the room next door, snoring... WiFi is turned off at night, and there's no regular network available, so listening to music to avoid the snoring didn't work.

Exceptionally good breakfast.
