The King's Head Hotel

Location is good.

Very sub standard. Dirty. Request for hand towel or tissue in bathroom was not possible. Greasy, smelly and dirty place.

the price was good, easy check in and check out, staff was friendly. Tv and WiFi supplied. Adequate for a night and value for money.

car park was very small. I was unable to park in the car park and had to park on the road where there are restrictions mon-sat 8am to 6pm. Musty smell that was tried to be covered by airfreshers that were too strong...I locked the windows open to air the room and the issue was resolved. Shared bathroom with other rooms ment I had to keep going back to check if available in the morning...no issues at night. I had a front room which ment I could barely hear the disco downstairs, however sleeping with the windows opened ment I was woken up by lorries going past around 7am.

Well placed and easy to access and comfi bed for the price reflected.

Bathroom shower could of use a bit of a scrub, some mildew around the siliconed edges and glass was ln’t the cleanest.

Friendly staff, very cosy and clean. A kitchen for cooking if you needed. Close to town centre. Very good value for money. Would stay again.

Nothing that I didn't like.

The young man who was on charge was very professional and ensured that we were settled in well. The room was large and clean, the bed was OK.

The shared bathroom/shower was the only one serving 4 rooms, could do with either another or a sink in the room to facilitate washing.
