The King's Head Hotel

Staff very helpful. An inexpensive night in the town I wanted. Comfy bed. Clean.

The rooms and corridors were clean, but badly in need of TLC (paintwork etc). I don’t mind sharing a bathroom, but the fact that the only loo for the rooms was in the bathroom is likely to annoy others as well as me.

It was central to where we needed to be

It was dirty, I found the one member of staff I dealt with rude

The staff were excellent, friendly and welcoming, always accomodating and helpful

General appearance of the hotel and room, all needs updating and investment by the Brewery owners

Low end, low budget, not to my liking. It might appeal to the “Britain on $60 a Day” crowd but it held no sppeal to me.

On a busy street with traffic noise from 5 am to Midnight. Very old building with not much done to fix it up. Security system was old and cranky. Shared shower stall needed to be cleaned.

Very spacious room - tall, airy, even an open fireplace!

No breakfast facilities - it's really stretching it to call it a 'hotel!'

The wallpaper was hanging off the walls the ceiling had stains all over it and the bedding was not clean
