The location is stunning, quiet, calm, in the middle of forests and close to hiking trails. We spent here our New Year’s Eve as we wanted to escape loud celebrations and the place delivered: we had an undisturbed night and still could celebrate the last day of the year surrounded by wonderful nature of Jizera mountains covered under a thick layer of snow. We spent considerable time hiking the nearby trails and sledging down the adjacent ski slope which was just fantastic. We stayed in one of the apartments which are in a separate building than the main hotel, which was lovely because it was calmer here. The apartment was nice, sufficient for the 2-night stay of our 4-persons family, reasonably equipped with a fridge, small stove and a water kettle. We made use of the wellness and other facilities in the main building which was lovely.

Restaurant was a disappointment. Breakfasts were relatively simple but fine. I would propose not mixing cheese together with salami/ham on one plate as for vegetarians it is not very appealing to eat cheese which has already the meat flavour. We had one dinner in the restaurant but the food was not good and the staff kept mixing up orders of different tables. Improvement in the kitchen would definitely boost this place greatly.
