Really good and it was a good breakfast

The breakfast was good, the room was ready early.

The hot tub wasn't very nice.

The stay was amazing! Staff was awesome! Breakfast was above the bar! Bed was super comfortable, shop was good, popcorn and cookies were a nice added touch. I have been to the up several times, and it never disappoints. Small town central to things like whitefish point, the falls and pictured rocks. I feel like I may have bothered the staff a little more then I needed, but they were so friendly! Thankyou for the stay, the remodel looks amazing, and we will see you soon! Oh, sunsets from here... 😍

The only issue i had was we only had a weekend. I wish we could have stayed longer. After the winter, we will see you again.

Let's start with the good. The bed was quite comfortable. They had biscuits and gravy at breakfast, which I only eat when travelling and really enjoy. BUT: The floor was shockingly lumpy underneath the carpet, and the hotel room smelled bad - worse than the bathroom, actually. And speaking of the bathroom, it had one of those small-mouth toilets that are fine for women and children, but not for grown men. (If you know, you know.) Also, the price was north of $150 per night.

We stayed in a two queen room and it was spacious and the bed was comfy. The updates give the hotel a nice fresh and welcoming look. Both women who checked us in and out (wish I could remember their names!) were wonderful. The woman who checked us out even recommended we stay at their sister hotel in St. Ignace the next time we’re in Mackinaw. The breakfast was great with a ton of options. I love the fact that fresh cookies and popcorn are made everyday for the guests. Their little gift shop is super unique too. Would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back!
